For Planet Sake becomes a life member of NESA (National Environmental Science Academy)

As a socially responsible business we are looking for ways to give back to society and support causes aimed at improving lifestyle and living conditions of people living in developing countries. Honouring this commitment, we proudly support National Environmental Science Academy (NESA), a national level non-governmental and not for profit organisation headquartered in New Delhi, India. The Academy aims to promote environmental sciences and sustainable practices among young minds and researchers, setting up regional and state chapters for dissemination of information on environment conservation.

The academy organises national/international level conferences, symposium, seminars, meetings and workshops on themes of environmental concerns and awareness along with practical activities such as plantation drives, conservation of natural resources etc.

Over the past three decades, National Environmental Science Academy (NESA) has been working hard organising national and international events, publishing research articles in well reputed journals, continually meeting the demands of authors and the wider research community. The academy mainly targets scientists, researchers, specialists, professors, policy makers and industrial experts from various domains of applied and natural sciences to learn from real time experiences, analysis, empirical studies and conclusions drawn by researchers and experts in their fields. The Academy aims to provide qualitative and updated research to its target audience. It also provides a platform and encourages environment protectionists, researchers and experts to publish and disseminate their theoretical and empirical research to broader audience and local communities.

Some of the recent events conducted by the organisation in 2024 are:

  • Plantation drive during the month of August in partnership with Youth Red Cross Unit at a University in Northern India to drive awareness amongst students and staff about the significance of environmental conservation. During the event 100’s of saplings were planted by students in local community and nearby villages.
  • A National level conference on Ozone Layer, its depletion and impact on living beings is planned in September in the state of Rajasthan, India.

We are a proud life member of NESA and wish it all the best as it continues on its objectives to educate communities around the impact of climate change and environment conservation
